Barbara’s place was clean and cozy. The only thing was we booked it primarily because of the hot tub. When we got there, we didn’t see one. I messaged and called Barbara and learned another guest had broken it and it was being replaced. The place was otherwise good, but I wish we had known this in advance as we would have stayed elsewhere. Sounds like this is getting fixed but would recommend confirming it’s fixed if this is an important amenity to you! (Stayed with a pet)

Great find, nice and cozy cabin not too far from downtown Helen (10 min) or Cleveland (15 min). We chose this cabin for the lack of steps and single level aspect. My MIL can't make it far with stairs, and fortunately there were very few steps down onto the porch and she was able to get around easily. (Stayed a few nights)

Very very nice clean and well decorated place. It felt good to bring our dog with us and not have to pay an expensive cleaning or pet fee. The place is very beautiful. Some of amenities need to be updated. Things that were in the amenities were not there and not enough of some of the amenities. We will most definitely stay again but bring more towels, dish rags and drying towels, more cooking supplies from home (cooking oil, and other spices? . (Stayed with a pet)

We had a very good time, close to Helen lots of delish mom and pop restaurants and such a beautiful view! The porch was my favorite spot to sit in the morning while drinking coffee. You cannot use the fireplace inside, but as long as you gather up some firewood in the daylight the fire pit setup is perfect for s’mores and great memories. ( Stayed a few nights)

Barbara’s cabin was beautiful and secluded. It’s out in the woods, so things are quiet and there is privacy, but it’s also about a 5 minute drive from downtown Helen, so there are a lot of nearby fun things to do as well. Cabin has comfortable beds, 2 showers, and a living room area with nice furniture. There was also a kitchen with silverware utensils, as well as pots & pans so we were able to cook. We had a great Oktoberfest there this year. Looking forward to stay again soon. (Stayed with a pet)
